Iris Browser Beta For Windows Mobile

And so the browser wars continue on for another day, the Iris Browser just popped up in our catalog and for something still in beta, it's fairly useful.

Iris Browser

In my opinion, Iris Browser is yet to match up to Opera Mobile, SkyFire, and the S60 Web Browser, that does not mean it's a piece of junk, it render pages really well, it is based on the Webkit rendering engine so you know its gonna be a speed demon, however the bugs really kill the experience and for this Browser to ride with the big boys, insecticide is needed pronto.

One feature that really stands out is private browsing, do I hear ″PrOn″ while mobile? The 3D history navigation looks cool too but nothing else caught my attention when using this browser. Things might change later down the line but I won't be keeping my hopes up, plus, the mobile Browser market is flooded already, do we really need more to confuse the brain?

* Advanced mobile key navigation

* JavaScript/ECMAScript 1.5
* SVG, XPath and XSLT support
* History Auto-Complete
