After years of waiting and pleading to Apple, fanboys can now copy paste with their iPhone, oh joy. Most of the features found in iPhone OS 3.0 has been kicking it in other Oses since inception, but it had to take a little competition and fanboy murmuring before Apple responds accordingly with what fans need. Unfortunately there is one important feature that got lost in translation, there is still no background processing, is someone at Apple playing with crack in the basement or what, running multiple application is an important feature in any OS, even some Dumbphones can do it.
Despite all my ranting, I have to say the new features in iPhone OS 3.0 is solid enough to sway more people across to the darkside of the cult world, me on the other hand? I'm not easily swede.
Features:
-Copy & Paste-Audio Recording
-Push Notification
-Browse Remote Content
-Peer-Peer Bluetooth Connectivity
-Multimedia Messaging (MMS)
-3G Tethering (use iPhone as Modem)
-Stereo Bluetooth A2DP Audio
-Anti Phishing
-Wi-Fi Auto Login
-Shake To Shuffle Music
-Rumbling (games can now rumble like PS3/360 Joystick)
-Extended Parental Controls
Those are just a few of the new features you can find in iPhone OS 3.0, the good thing about all this is that it's all free, so you can just download the update and you are all set to fly.
