T-Mobile G1 Going For $98(USD) On Amazon USA

The T-Mobile G1, otherwise known as the HTC G1, HTC Dream, first Android based phone etc, is going for cheap on Amazon, would be sweeter if the damn thing was unlocked.

Amazon USA has the G1 going for $98(USD), this new found price could jusy be for a limited time so if you really want an Android based phone like yesterday, then you might want to check this out, but beware, you'll be asked to sign a 2yr contract with T-Mobile, sad but true. Another downside on this deal is the fact that current T-Mobile subscribers cannot benefit from this deal, I understand T-Mobile's need to swallow up more subscribers but come on, really unfair to the faithful.

The G1 was launched with a $199(USD) price tag, so with this deal you're getting the phone for $81(USD) less, with a physical keyboard slapped on to this thing, no announced Android handset can match this despite its other shortcomings.
